This year Lag B’Omer falls on Sunday, May 2, 2010.  (As with all Jewish Holidays, the actual holiday begins at sundown the evening before.  In this case Lag B’Omer begins at sundown, Saturday May 1, 2010. The evening before a holiday is called Erev + Holiday Name.  In this case Erev Lag B’Omer.)

How Do You Spell Lag B’Omer?

As with many other Jewish Holidays, there are a variety of spellings for Lag B’Omer.  Some are:  Lag B’Omer, Lag BaOmer and Lag Ba’Omer.  If you know of others, please feel free to comment below and I will add them here.

Dear Say It With eCards Club Members:

Hope you and yours are well!

The sun is shining here in NYC. Always an added plus, although I work hard at keeping it shining in my heart 24/7!

This will be short, because I took a bad fall on Sunday.  I am doing much better with the help of Advil, nevertheless I am VERY lucky.  This could have been much, much, much worse.  I tripped on an “uneven” sidewalk.
