VALENTINES DAY

When I grew up, Valentine’s Day was considered a day for lovers and significant others…

TODAY, I realize that Love comes in many forms ~ the love we feel for our loved ones; family; friends; business associates; clients; colleagues and… most importantly the love we feel for ourselves.  Ultimately… Without loving ourselves there is very little love to share with others.

Say It With eCards offers a HUGE selection of Judaic Love eCards.

SOME HISTORY on Valentine’s Day at Say It With eCards

I realize Valentine’s Day is not a Jewish Holiday, but my theory
is “Jewish People Love too!”  With that said, there is a good-sized
“Love in February / Valentine’s Day Judaic Style” Collection of eCards waiting for you to send to friends, loved ones, family and business associates.

RE: “LOVE IN FEBRUARY”

In 2002 when I created my first collection of Valentine’s Day eCards, my good friend, who is an Orthodox Rebitizen announced – “You can’t have Valentine’s Day eCards.”  Taken back… “I said: WHY NOT?”

She said “some may be offended.”  This was the first I had heard of such a thing.  I always thought of Valentine’s Day for lovers.  I said:  “Jewish People Love!”  After much thought I “coined the phrase ‘Love in February!’

After a while I pushed it a bit further and called it “Valentine’s Day Judaic Style!” Thus adding a bit of Yiddishe to the mix.

RE: “REACHING OUT”

As I said earlier…  When I was growing up I was made to believe that Valentine’s Day was only for lovers and/or significant others — NOT TRUE! It is also a time “to reach out and tell friends and family how much they mean to you.”  Who knows… YOUR eCard might be the ONLY acknowledgement they get this weekend!

IMPORTANT NOTE: Those who have lost loved ones permanently or by just moving on are USUALLY more sensitive to holidays geared to love and family. BE THEIR LIGHT! Send an eCard of Remembrance!

DO NOT…

let the day go by, or weekend, in case you do not read this until
Sunday… without reaching out to friends, loved ones, family and business associates.

EVEN IF…

you read this AFTER Sunday, February 14, 2010… It is NEVER to late to remember those we care about ~ and “to LET THEM know about it!”

FOR BUSINESS…

Sending eCards is the best way to keep your name in front of business associates, prospective clients and partners (in a non-combative way) ~ as everyone has the need to feel remembered and special.

SHAMELESS REQUEST…

I SHAMELESSLY ASK YOU to share the site with your friends,
loved ones, colleagues and business associates – literally anyone
you feel would be interested.  There is no greater advertisement
than that of *Word of Mouth!*  These days it is a Mitzvah for all
concerned ~ eCards are the “most affordable way to communicate!”

I thank you in advance for your efforts!

YOUR COMMENTS

I am always interested in your comments, suggestions and
corrective criticisms or anything else you have to say.
I cannot fix what I am not aware of!

I have had the privilege and honor of meeting some of you
personally via phone. It is a true pleasure and a blessing in my
book! 🙂
