I am thrilled to report that my Free Shabbat Shalom eCards / Free Shabbos eCards offer was a great success.

I was just fed up with all the gloom and doom talk about the economy, stocks, bonds, gas prices, food prices, etc. etc..   It’s all true, but… I just had enough and wanted to do something positive and touch others lives while doing so.

Shabbos comes every week… What better way than to offer a free selection of Shabbat Shalom eCards / Shabbos eCards. 

I am thrilled to say that many of the cards were sent and I can only hope they brought much joy to the senders and their recipients.  I know I was ecstatic to see them sent.  This offer was made late, so I hope next week/Shabbos it will be more effective!

I hope all is well with you and yours!  It’s hard to believe that we are in the middle of July and Rosh Hashanah is in less than three months.  It seems like it was just yesterday.

As the risk of repeating myself… Please take a moment to brighten up someone else’s life.  We never really know what is going on behind closed doors.

For example:  On Wednesday I had some computer issues.  If you deal with Dell, then you might know what I mean.  Five hours on the phone and still no real resolution.  I am awaiting a phone call from the escalation department.  MY POINT… I would have appreciated any little bit of kindness shown to me that day. (I will say this, I have purchased three Dell computers in my lifetime, there WILL NOT be a forth!)

My point: In the scheme of things my problems were minor as to what could have been; Thank God, no one died, no one was sick, etc..  But the meaning is the same…  Take a moment or two to reach out to friends, business associates and acquaintances.  It will make a huge difference and you will be remembered kindly for your efforts.  Most people are so busy in their own lives they just do not think of doing little niceties for others.  They are not mean, they are just busy.  Break the pattern, DO IT NOW!
