Shabbat Shalom:

If you are like me… You are busy, there is just not enough time in the day to get everything done.  Ideas of getting or staying in touch with those you care about fall between the cracks.  Opportunities are sometimes lost forever!

I can’t believe it is Shabbos again!  Where is the time going?  Someone told me…  In 40 days it will be 2009.

In any case…  I believe… It is more important than ever to keep in touch with those we care about, whether loved ones, family members, friends, acquaintances, vendors, clients or business associates.  Many are going through trying times.  They may not talk about it, they may pretend everything is ok.  But, everyone is touched in one way or another with the tough economic times we are living through.  This is something like none of us have ever seen.

My point… Keep in touch, just be there.  Sometimes just knowing someone cares and took time out of their busy day to remember us means more than we can ever say.  It is the priceless gift we can all give!

I do not know about you, but I feel like I’ve been through the war of a lifetime:

• a 21-month Presidential Battle for the White House, the longest and dirtiest, of which I can remember
• a tanking stock market and depressive economy

It seems as if there is doom and gloom lurking in every nook, cranny and corner.  If there is a space, there it is peeking out at us!

I’VE HAD IT… NO MORE… I AM FINISHED…

I want to smile again (really smile)… I want to laugh again (really laugh)… MOST OF ALL… “I want to bring joy, peace and happiness to those I love and care about,  AND… even to those I do not know yet!

It’s Friday again…  Shabbos is here again… the one normalcy we can count on.  As sure as Friday comes after Thursday, the Jewish Sabbath begins at sundown every Friday evening.
