Sunday September 11, 2011 (Remembering 911)

Dear Say It With eCards Members:

This is a sad weekend for America… I sent a similar message in 2010. PLEASE READ ON!

On a personal note:

As a New Yorker I AM more than a little sensitive to 911.  It was not only an offense to MY country, but it was AN INVASION of MY CITY and my peace!

As always… I hope all is well with You and Yours and you have enjoyed your summer.  It’s hard to believe that Rosh Hashanah is in about two weeks. WOWEE…  On the other hand I AM EXCITED to start over!!!

REALITY STRIKES…

I come to you today, humbly and with heart in hand.  As you know… Today is the tenth (10th) anniversary of September 11, 2001. As a New Yorker and a proud American this is terribly personal to me. HOWEVER…

Because I AM an artist and run an eCards site, I have an opportunity to give back a bit more elegantly.

The horrific events of September 11, 2001 are as real today as they were ten years ago.  I can remember every moment of that day from beginning to end. IN FACT…

For the VERY FIRST TIME… I plan to post my own experience.  I have NEVER been able to bring myself to do that, but some of my Facebook friends have asked me to share so they can learn and get another aspect of what happened on my end – as a New Yorker and in the thick of things.

Thus I went on a search and after almost a week, I found the notes I sent to a local newspaper which did a story on my 911 Tribute eCards in September  2002.

When I think of those getting ready to go to ground zero and the other memorial sites later on today, I can’t even imagine the pain they are feeling. It must feel like a true never-ending living nightmare ~ as it feels unreal to me, so many years later.

With this said: As my way of giving back and keeping the memories alive, Say It With eCards offers more than three (3) dozen 911 Tribute eCards. These eCards are designed in BOTH Judaic and NON-Judaic formats.

Because I am a New Yorker I’ve included 911 eCards designs to remember the NYPD aka New York’s Finest; FDNY aka New York’s Bravest; Port Authority Police and Workers as well as the EMS workers who lost their lives.

Some of the eCards were designed in the early days, some were updated and some were designed as the years passed.

I know I don’t have to tell you… but it makes me feel better to say it:  It is so VERY important to keep the memory alive and NEVER forget what happened on that fateful day.  I was unexpectedly in Manhattan on September 11, 2001 when a previously scheduled appointment was rescheduled.

PUBLIC SERVICE

Each September 11th I open these 911 Tribute eCards to the general public as my way of giving back.

I’ll be back in touch later on this week with more pleasant things… Rosh Hashanah! 😉

Saturday, June 19, 2010 (Erev Father’s Day)

Dear Say It With eCards Members:

First let me apologize, I was scheduled to send this earlier today, but I’ve been experiencing technical issues from the time I arrived at the computer – so much so, it robbed me of the beautiful day outside, BUT… It’s all good… I THINK after an entire day I’ve solved the problem. It was quite a challenge, with much learned — It was email related…

I hope you enjoyed your Shabbos and that is was restful, joyous and filled with abundant love — even if it was your own.  Love is where it all begins… especially our own!

FATHER’S DAY

It’s hard to believe Father’s Day is here again.<sigh>  It was the last time I saw my own father alive — on Father’s Day 1989! It seems like just yesterday.  He died two weeks later on the way back from a Bermuda Cruise.

On a happier note… Say It With eCards offers an abundant collection of Judaic Father’s Day eCards in many flavors — For sure, something for everyone! (English and Hebrew)

For your sending convenience here are the direct links to
all the Father’s Day eCards.

Wednesday, March 17, 2010 – (St. Patrick’s Day 2010)

Dear Say It With eCards Members:

Just for fun…  A few years ago I created some “Jewish Luck eCards” inspired by the Shamrock and St. Patrick’s Day (You know… “The Luck of the Irish!”  I figured:  Why not have some “Jewish Luck!” After all: “one can NEVER have too much mazel and naches!”

IMPORTANT NOTE:

I’ve come to believe “ANY” opportunity is a “EXCELLENT” opportunity to connect.  This said… I uploaded a new selection of complimentary/FREE Jewish Shamrock eCards in honor of St. Patrick’s Day. They are sure to bring a smile when your recipients receive them.  I made sure each and every one of the cards have a message of inspiration and love.

They are here:

St. Patrick’s Day eCards (Also know as Jewish Luck eCards!)
http://www.sayitwithecards.com/index.php?cat_id=569 (SEE ALL)

As always, they were designed in both Judaic and NON-Judaic Themes.

SHAMELESS REQUEST…

I SHAMELESSLY ASK YOU to share the site with your friends, loved ones, colleagues and business associates – literally anyone you feel would be interested.  There is no greater advertisement than that of *Word of Mouth!*  These days it is a Mitzvah for all concerned ~ eCards are the “most ffordable, in-the-moment way to communicate!”

I thank you in advance for your efforts, support and patronage!

YOUR COMMENTS

I am always interested in your comments, suggestions and corrective criticisms or anything else you have to say. I cannot fix what I am not aware of!

I have had the privilege and honor of meeting some of you personally via phone. It is a true pleasure and a blessing in my book!

FREE Clock Change Reminder eCards – Spring Ahead Reminder eCards

No Gravatar

Depending on where you are, it will not be long until we PUSH our CLOCKS AHEAD and enter Daylight Savings Time 2010,  or

perhaps by the time you read this it will ALREADY be Daylight Savings Time.  In that case:

Have YOU “sprung ahead” pushing “ALL” your clocks “AHEAD”  one hour?

If you are like most of us, there is ALWAYS a clock or two (or three)  that had not been changed yet!

  • Bedroom clocks
  • kitchen clocks
  • Microwave clocks
  • Watches
    • Wrist Watches
    • Pocket Watches
  • Stove clocks
  • Livingroom clocks
  • VCR clocks
  • TV clocks
  • CD/DVD players clocks
  • Phone Clocks
    • landline, cell, etc.
  • Pedometer Clocks, etc.

I always remember the time – all those years ago – when “I ALMOST” arrived at work  — “one hour earlier” than I thought it was – quite by accident!”  As I was driving to work, I was shocked when I heard the radio announcer share the time. Lo and behold I FORGOT to change the clocks!

To help you help your friends, relatives, loved ones, business associates, social networking friends, etc., I created a small selection of FREE Clock Change Reminder eCards in both Judaic and NON-Judaic Themes.  Something for everyone.  Surf on over to:

http://www.SayItWithEcards.com (right column)

I hope you will enjoy the extra hour of daylight as much as I will.  I call it “my gift from God!” This year I’m calling it “Exit from Winter’s House Arrest!”

I would love to hear what the clock changing means to you — Please COMMENT below in the Comment area.
